Cripps Barn Wedding with Becky and Nick

Despite storm “Frank” blowing a gale and bringing torrential rain and severe flood warnings, it could not dampen Becky and Nicks Cripps Barn Wedding.
We started with Becky at Cotswold Barn near Bibury and with Nick at the Kingshead Hotel in the centre of Cirencester. Our friend Chris Fordham was on hair duties, and is always a pleasure to work with.
As the guests arrived at St Mary’s Church in Bibury Nick arrived too and rushed into the church in order not to get too soaked. As the church filled Becky and her bridesmaids were arriving by vintage cars. Once everyone was in place, Becky, her father and her bridesmaids arrived and walked up the aisle to see Nick waiting patiently.

After a couple of wonderful readings Nick and Becky kissed as they celebrated their vows. After a round of applause we decided to do the formal photos in the church as dragging everyone outside was not an option. Once we had finished we headed up to the cosy barn with roaring open the fires adding to the atmosphere.

After Matt Bee had entertained their guests with his vocal dexterity, the couple were introduced into their wedding breakfast to a huge cheer.

Once the speeches were up and running Nick decided to re-propose to his now wife, but during this time his guests decided to perform a Flash mob style event to one of Becky’s favourite songs. A real crowd pleaser this!

After all the formal elements were completed there was only the first dance left to complete and their was even ‘the lift’ at one point amount the merriment.

A fantastic day, despite the weather.
